Garonne Riverfront Master Plan
I’m really proud of my post because the first time I wrote, I got a message saying, “Warning, your page has been deleted since you started editing….” Hey! Wait a minute! I’m trying to be a wikipedian, just like everyone else. So, it seems to be working at this point. Although short, it’s there and there to stay for a bit (let’s hope!).
There isn’t much information on the Garonne Riverfront Master Plan although what I have found is informative. It appears to me to be a new (or somewhat new) movement in the field to transform industrial sites by phasing over a long time period to ensure its sustainability. These high profile design projects are gaining fast attention throughout the world… Let see if they work, and what they really do look like in 50 years.
One last thing, I think its cool that we don’t even know if we will be alive when they are finished. Don’t know why I think this is cool, I just do… Long gone is the “I want it now” mantra of so many Americans. Or not.
